Abstract
It was found that the replacement of sunflower oil in the feed of laying quails with flaxseed oil and the use of flaxseed flour as a source of protein and energy allowed, with the same nutrient content in the egg, to change the fatty acid composition, the content of alpha-linolenic fatty acid increased by 2.5 and 6.4%, docosahexaenoic acid – by 0.5% and linoleic acid decreased by 1.4 and 3.2%. The use of flax processing products in the diet of quails allows you to regulate the ratio of fatty acids, thereby enhancing the dietary properties of quail eggs
