Abstract

This work examines the issues of organizing technical supervision over the condition of drainage systems and hydraulic structures. The main focus is on methods, defect diagnosis and development of measures to ensure reliability and liquidity. Reliable operation of canals and structures of the on-farm irrigation system is determined by the level of technical solutions and the quality of project execution, strict adherence to the recommended technology for carrying out construction work and the organization of their correct operationThe level of reliability of the irrigation system operation is: the total duration of trouble-free operation of all system elements, including a permanent conducting and temporary regulating irrigation network, a system of channels, and structures on the network, is ensured by careful preparation of the system for the beginning of the irrigation season, followed by maintenance and constant supervision of their operation. In the system of operational measures, an important place is given to timely preventive and restorative repairs, eliminating the possibility of system failures while observing the rules of its operation. In accordance with this, maintenance of the irrigation network is limited to monitoring the condition of canals and structures, ensuring protection from damage, and carrying out necessary repairs
