Abstract

Sustainable socio-economic development of rural areas depends on the agricultural-industrial complex, which ensures food security, economic growth and social well-being of the territory and population. The current economic state of agricultural activity is determined by the presence of both potential conditions: demographic, natural, climatic, settlement systems, etc., and the ability to use these factors as efficiently as possible in production and economic activities. The article uses an evaluation system consisting of indicators that take into account the availability of resources and indicators of the efficiency of their use reflecting economic dynamics. It is this analysis that serves as the basis for the strategy for sustainable spatial development of rural areas of agricultural regions
