Abstract
The variety of winter fodder wheat Lutescens 801 was created at the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture by remote hybridization with the participation of a wheat-wheatgrass hybrid. It is offered for cultivation as an intermediate forage crop in a green conveyor belt to supply animals with juicy, highly nutritious food. The accumulation of green mass in this variety in the early period is twice as fast as in alfalfa and spring triticale. The content of raw and digestible protein, as well as the accumulation of minerals, phosphorus and calcium in winter wheat Lutescens 801 approaches the content of these elements in oats and triticale, and in terms of the content of feed units, this crop surpasses oats and triticale.
