Abstract

The paper presents the results of the approbation tests of the vaccine against peste des petits ruminants (PPR) from the strain "Nigeria75/1". The research work was carried out in the conditions of the National Reference Center for Veterinary Medicine, the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Research institute for biological safety problems of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan before its registration in the register of veterinary drugs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the results of approbation tests, it was found that the vaccine is sterile, dissolves within 60 seconds, the pH is 7.2, the mass fraction of moisture is 2.95 ± 0.5%, the titer of the biological activity of the vaccine is more than 6.50±0.08 lg TCID50/сm3. The vaccine is harmless and has no post-vaccination complications. It has a strained immune system for 3 years. The physico-biological properties of the vaccine comply with the organization's standard and are suitable for specific prevention against PPR areas
