ON WORD FORMATION OF NUMERALS IN GERMAN AND KYRGYZ LANGUAGES

Abstract

This article deals with the word formation of numerals in two unrelated languages. The methods of forming new words with both lexical and grammatical meanings are compared, and their use in sentences is summarised. The formation of root and derivative numerals is explained and accompanied by examples. The word-formation affixes of German and Kyrgyz numerals are compared and conveyed to the readers in simple words to make it more understandable. Of course, both similarities and differences in the way they are formed are explored
