Abstract
The article presents the number and proportion of students currently studying at universities in Kyrgyzstan, including students studying economics. The place and role of economic education in the formation of qualified personnel and adaptation to the rapidly changing requirements of the modern labor market are noted. Trends in economic education in the future, innovations in economic education, and the impact of digital transformation on economic education are noted. In order for students to be ready for the new challenges of the digital economy, there is a need to introduce artificial intelligence into the educational process of economic specialties, which allows students to acquire skills in working with modern technologies. The employment prospects for graduates of economics are highlighted, allowing students to gain valuable work experience and develop practical skills necessary for a successful career in the field of economics
