Abstract
The purpose of the study is to develop and scientifically substantiate methods for using the North Caucasian meat-and-wool breed in introductory crossbreeding to improve the Tien Shan breed. The studies used general zootechnical methods, and the technological properties of wool were determined using the OFDA-2000 device. As a result of the work carried out, a breeding group of sheep was created with crossbred wool of 58 and 56 quality, identical ithickness and length and good meat properties. In terms of live weight, sheep exceed the minimum indicators of class 1 by 7.2-8.0 and wool shearing - by 2.08.6%. For “internal” breeding, 1/4 GTS of the cross is determined. The income received per 1 ewe amounted to 1536.98 soms
