Abstract
This article summarizes and presents materials on the effectiveness of protecting seed potatoes from the most harmful pathogenic organisms in the conditions of the Naryn region of Kyrgyzstan. Common and silver scab, rhizoctoniosis, fusarium and fomos dry rot of tubers were identified among them. Losses from them in the seed farms of the region annually account for up to 30% of the potato harvest. This was mainly due to the fact that the pathogens of these diseases persist on the surface of tubers, as well as on plant residues and in the soil. As a result, it was found that one of the effective ways to restrain the development of diseases on seed tubers is their pre-planting etching. Equally important in increasing potato yields is effective control during the growing season of the crop. The tested new means of protection also showed high effective indicators
