Abstract

The threatening scale of the increase in the areas of saline-alkaline soils in Kyrgyzstan, the deterioration of their condition due to the lack of proper care for the collectordrainage network and irrigation infrastructure of irrigated agriculture, i.e. the current state of previously reclaimed lands requires rehabilitation measures to eliminate the causes of secondary soil salinization. Reclamation-unfavorable lands have a negative impact on the country's food security, and they require the implementation of recommended, comprehensive reclamation measures, incl. the use of phytomelioration, especially with the introduction of new salt-tolerant crops into agricultural production and green manure technology using winter and stubble green manure plants, which work for the prospects for a radical improvement in the fertility of salinealkaline soils
