EFFICIENCY INDICATORS OF YEASTING SEEDS OF AGRICULTURAL CROPS

Abstract

Coating of family crops, which involves wrapping the seeds with a protective and nutritious shell of a fertilizer mixture and fungicides, is an important stage in the pre-sowing treatment of seeds of small-seed crops. The article analyzes analytical dependencies to determine the conditions for the formation of the shell during seed trembling: the average droplet diameter; the degree of coverage of the surface of the seed with the coating mixture; coefficient of effective action of a drop; conditions for separation of seeds from each other (holding force of adhesion of the liquid); the condition of adherence of particles of the coating mixture to the surface of the seeds. It has been established that the coefficient of effective action of a drop characterizes the regularity: the finer the particles of the coating mixture, the better the seeds are wetted. The specific acceleration of the seeds at which they will separate from each other depends on the viscosity of the binding liquid, the radius and density of the treated seeds. To ensure these conditions, it is necessary to select an appropriate binding liquid and select the optimal mode of seed movement in the mixing chamber. The obtained dependencies can be used to calculate the optimal modes of seed coating in the mixing chamber of the pelletizer
