Abstract

The article considers the subject, sources, parts and basic statements of the general social protection theory as a new scientific direction formed within the limits of the economic science (institutional branch of the economic theory), based on the author’s concept about the essence of social protection as the social and economic and social and cultural phenomenon, and offers the description of the economic model of social protection
