Abstract
The article is devoted to the development of rational schemes for the use of groundwater as an additional source of irrigation in the context of climate change and the expected reduction in river flow. The work was carried out with regard to the At-Bashi irrigation system located in the central part of the Chui Valley of the Kyrgyz Republic. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the possibility of using groundwater as an additional source of irrigation. The article assesses the impact of the mentioned additional water intake on the regime and balance of groundwater in the territory under consideration. The study was conducted using a volumetric model of groundwater filtration using the MODFLOW software package
