Abstract

Seed quality is a pressing issue for Russian agriculture. This article provides information on the development of new methods using growth regulators, various nourishment ranges and methods of producing original, elite Citrullus Lanatus seeds to obtain purebred seed crops and to continue its ongoing work to improve and consolidate the economically valuable characteristics of the variety. The article highlights the role and significance of the need to comply with methodological requirements for the production of original and elite gourds, as well as the need to preserve and develop primary seed breeding
