Abstract
The problem of increasing the competitiveness of grain is associated with the availability of initial information for making the best decision for this. The indicators of the composition of the bunker grain heap are related to the initial information for finding ways to improve the processes of harvesting and post-harvest processing of the main threshing product. Therefore, the aim of the work is to increase the efficiency of the finishing stages of crop production by monitoring the composition of the bunker grain of available harvesting means. The objectives of the research include obtaining an assessment of the composition of the bunker grain heap of wheat of different commodity producers and identifying the reasons for the deviation of the estimated indicators from the regulated values. The presented material presents the features of the methodology for assessing the composition of the bunker grain heap as an indicator of the functioning of the harvesting unit. At the same time, the need for a preliminary procedure for agro-assessment of the stem stand and a technical examination of the grain harvester is substantiated. The results of the analysis of average grain heap samples taken during the 2023 harvesting season from different combines in the Novosibirsk Region are given. The reasons for the deviation of specific estimated indicators of the composition of bunker grain from the regulated values
