Abstract

Research conducted on the ordinary chernozem of the Western Ciscaucasia at the farm “Berezanskoye” (Korenovsky district, Krasnodar region) in 2021-2023 in field experiments to specify the effect of seeding rate (40, 60 (control) and 80 thousand pieces of germinated seeds per 1 hectare) on the productivity of sunflower hybrids (Aris, Aurus, Taizar, Klip and Surus) bred at V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (Russia, Krasnodar) has shown that the genotypes have different rates of yield response to the studied agronomic technique. The hybrids Aurus and Taizar did not respond with yield to the change in seeding rate, and Klip, Surus and Aris – responded with a decrease in yield at lower (40 thousand pcs/ha) seeding rate and obtained the same yield at increased seeding rate (80 thousand pcs/ha)
