NEW PROMISING PLUM VARIETIES IN ISSYK-KUL REGION

Abstract

The description of the pomological features of 5 new plum varieties Elena, Chuyskaya Krasavitsa, Daria, Anastasia and a find bred at the E.Z. Gareev Botanical Garden Research Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic is given. The Elena variety was transferred to the state variety testing in 2003. According to the results of the variety testing, in 2009 the variety was entered into the “State Register of varieties and hybrids of plants approved for use in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic”. According to the results of the variety study, the Chuiskaya Krasavitsa variety was submitted for state testing in 2003, and in 2011 it was entered into the “State Register of Varieties and hybrids of plants approved for use in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.” The Anastasia variety is winter-hardy and drought-resistant, yielding, according to the results of variety studies, it was transferred to the state variety testing in 2003. According to the results of the variety study, the Daria variety was submitted for state testing in 2008. The Nakhodka variety was obtained from intervarietal hybridization of the Ispolinskaya and Stanley varieties, hybrid No. 4t-2-57. The authors of the variety are Soldatov I.V., Albanov N.S.
