THRESHING MACHINE FOR IMPLEMENTING FACTORY TECHNOLOGY FOR HARVESTING FIBER FLAX

Abstract

The aim of the work is to improve the technological process of separating flax seeds in stationary conditions from a tape with seed pods obtained from rolls. The scientific hypothesis is that flax seeds can be threshed by breaking seed pods in a three-roll threshing machine as a result of compression deformation. A variant of a roller-type threshing and separating device is proposed for threshing uncombed flax straw obtained from rolls in a fiber production line by uniformly flattening it in the gaps between rubberized rollers when implementing the factory harvesting technology. The use of a laboratory sample of a three-roll threshing and separating device when implementing the factory technology of harvesting flax provides a stable technological process for separating the seed part of the crop from a tape obtained from rolls in stationary conditions by breaking seed pods as a result of its double kneading between rubberized rollers. The fractional composition of the obtained seed heap contains: free seeds – 50%, seed capsule shells – 47%, unthreshed seed capsules – 3% and tangle – less than 1%.
