Abstract
The paper provides a comprehensive study of the current state, problematic issues and prerequisites for ensuring sustainable and effective development of grain production in the Republic of Kazakhstan: in particular, the main factors constraining the sustainability of crop production in the Republic of Kazakhstan are highlighted, the most relevant and significant problems of effective development of the grain industry in Kazakhstan are detailed and substantiated in detail., Special attention was paid to the problem of shortage of grain storage capacities as the most important condition for ensuring the sustainable functioning and development of agricultural bread-receiving enterprises in the context of improving cross-industry cooperation. In the final part of the study, the most demanded and effective decisions taken at the state level in the direction of ensuring balanced, sustainable and effective development of the grain industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the medium and long term were presented
