IRRIGATION SYSTEMS OF WUAS “TEN-ALYSH” OF KARA-KULZHINSKY DISTRICT

Abstract

The independence of the Central Asian countries has led to the fact that dozens, and sometimes hundreds, of farms and dehkan farms have been created and continue to be created in the agricultural sector instead of large farms. Service for the operation and maintenance of hydraulic reclamation systems. Instead, in many republics of the region, associations of water users themselves (WUAs) have been created, working on the principle of long-forgotten traditions of Adat and Sharia, the "cornerstone" of which is social and collective participation. The foreign and local experience of WUAs shows that the direct collective participation of water users, as a rule, ensures stable, fair and uniform management and provision of water resources
