Abstract

The article presents the results of studies on the use of naked barley in compound feed for quails of the parent stock. According to the results of the study, it was found that feeding quails with experimental compound feed contributed to a decrease in the cost of production of hatching eggs by 7.13%, due to an increase in the productivity of laying quails by 11.38% and a decrease in feed costs per 1 kg of egg mass and per 10 eggs by 5.09 and 1.70%, respectively. During the balance experiment, it was found that the use of the developed compound feed by the birds of the experimental group increased the digestibility of nutrients: crude protein – by 1.46%, crude fiber – by 4.34%
