Abstract
Earth dams play a key role in water management, flood prevention and sustainable use of water bodies. However, they are subject to various risks, including erosion, leaks, subsidence and degradation of materials. Analysis of the condition of earth dams includes an assessment of their physical and mechanical characteristics, monitoring of level changes. Filtration in earth dams is an important process that affects their stability and safety. Proper management of filtration processes helps prevent dam failure and minimize the risks associated with floods and erosion. This paper considers water filtration through an earth dam. The results of the analysis help identify potential risks and develop recommendations for improving the reliability and safety of earth dams. Effective management of the condition of dams helps reduce the likelihood of emergency situations and ensures environmental protection
