SEROLOGICAL MONITORING OF EQUINE INFLUENZA TYPE A CIRCULATION IN THE EQUINE POPULATION

Abstract

Epizootological and serological monitoring for equine influenza was carried out among the horse population of three regions at the request of the owners. According to the owners of the horses, they have been losing offspring from mares for the third year in a row. Clinical symptoms of respiratory infection in horses are observed annually. In subsequent years, although mares come into heat, they are not covered by stallions for whole year. Sometimes mares are covered, however, there are cases of abortions or neonatal death of foals. In order to obtain offspring, they change stallions every 2-3 years. However, the situation with obtaining offspring does not change
