Abstract

The objective of the work is to determine the performance of the developed farm grain cleaning device in laboratory and production conditions. The device consists of a frame, a drive, a grain heap dosing hopper, a fan for blowing sieves across the direction of their oscillations, four vertical spring steel posts on which a sieve frame with three sieves with trays for collecting and removing impurities is fixed. The relevance of developing a farm grain cleaning device is outlined, two examples of devices (with cylindrical and flat sieves) are given, a description of the proposed option, the results of its research and field tests are given, which showed a 5-6-fold decrease in grain heap contamination. In the heap of grain subject to cleaning, there were 94.8% whole wheat grain, 3.23% broken grain and grain impurities, 1.12% chaff and earth, 0.94% wild oats and oats, 0.61% weed seeds, and 0.02% ears. After cleaning the heap with a farmer's grain cleaning device, the amount of whole wheat grain after removing impurities became 99.19%, 0.24% broken grain and grain impurities, 0% chaff and earth, 0.08% wild oats and oats, 0.49% weed seeds, and 0% ears
