Abstract
This study assessed the current state of the snow leopard (Panthera uncia) population in Kyrgyzstan and to identified factors influencing changes in its population. Various methods were used to achieve this goal, including territorial surveys and installation of camera traps. The novelty of the work is the combination of various methods for assessing the abundance of the snow leopards in Kyrgyzstan, as well as the relevance of the problem of conservation this species. The results is obtained an important basis for developing effective management and conservation strategies for the snow leopard population in Kyrgyzstan
