Abstract

The article presents the results of bacteriological studies of staphylococcal infection in animals. Based on the results of cultural, morphological and biochemical studies of the isolate, it was established that the causative agent of the infection is Staphylococcus aureus. This culture had pathogenic properties, which included its synthesis of plasmacoagulase, catalase positivity and hemolytic activity by beta-hemolysis. The high dermonecrotic property of the culture and pathogenicity on white mice were determined, which caused the death of the disease in experimental animals. Hyperimmune serum with a titer of 1:256 was obtained by immunizing a rabbit with inactivated staphylococcal antigen
