Abstract
The main means of production in agriculture is land. Agriculture consists of two large interrelated sectors: agriculture and livestock. The main purpose of agriculture is to grow crops and raise livestock, to provide the population with food, and industry with raw materials. The fact that the country is an agricultural country is also evidenced by the fact that 65% of the population lives in rural areas and by type of economic activity, 12% of the total working population is engaged in agriculture. The article analyzes the development of agriculture in Kyrgyzstan in 2018-2022. As a result of the analysis, the main factors that have a negative impact on the development of agriculture in Kyrgyzstan were identified, and priority directions for further development of agriculture were identified
