Abstract
The Dzhany-Pakhtinsky aiyl aimag of the Sokuluksky district is one of the largest aiyl aimags of the Chui Valley, differing from other economic entities in terms of soil reclamation condition. Therefore, one of the urgent issues in this area is to determine the qualitative state of the gray soils of the northern light irrigated soils of the ZhanyPakhtinsky aiyl aimag, widely used in agriculture. The article defines the qualitative state of the gray soils of the northern light soils, shows some processes of change of these soils and establishes indicators of soil bonit. Determining the qualitative state of the soil data will help to develop appropriate recommendations for improvement in the future
