Abstract

А collection of 78 samples of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L), (Medicago falcata), (Medicago caerulea), (Medicago varia) from the Genebank of the South Australian Research Institute (SARDI) were tested in different ecological zones of the republic (sowing 2022-2023). 12 samples were selected based on a complex of economically valuable traits, which will be included in the breeding process to create drought-resistant initial breeding material for alfalfa
