Abstract
This article presents materials on the research of a mobile drum grain dryer on wheels. This design is intended for use by small farming households located in decentralized areas in mountainous regions where traditional electrical networks are absent. The drum is driven directly by a traction element, which can be a wheeled tractor. The drying agent is produced using solar panels, which have recently become widely used in our republic. The mobile photovoltaic station with a small power output is sufficient to power the fans built into the drum body. This design can also operate from the rural electrical network if the drum grain dryer is located near power transmission lines. To work out the design features of the drum grain dryer, the Department of Electrification and Automation of Agriculture is creating a laboratory simulation stand with the participation of master's, doctoral, and postgraduate students. This stand will be used for scientific experimental research in the selection of various elements, such as solar panels or photovoltaic systems, which will contribute to the quality of research work during the writing of master's and doctoral dissertations. The main trend in the creation of the laboratory simulation stand is focused on equipping it with modern power equipment using semiconductor conversion devices and the ability to conduct experimental studies as close to real conditions as possible. The use of modern measuring and recording equipment increases the reliability and accuracy of the research
