FEATURES OF LAND RESOURCE UTILIZATION IN ENSURING FOOD SECURITY

Abstract

This scientific article examines the importance of land resources utilization as a key factor in ensuring food security. The study focuses on analyzing the current state and identifying the main problems of land use, as well as developing and proposing effective methods and approaches to land management. Special attention is given to innovative technologies and practices that contribute to increasing agricultural productivity and sustainable rural development. The article analyzes both theoretical and practical aspects, examining their impact on food security at various levels - from local to intergovernmental. The authors draw on the experience of the Netherlands and other countries. Research goal: The study highlights not only the current challenges in land resource management but also demonstrates the potential for integrating modern technological solutions and sustainable practices in the agricultural sector. Main findings: Based on analysis and examples from different countries, the article offers a comprehensive view of opportunities to enhance land use efficiency through the application of innovations, such as precision agriculture, artificial intelligence systems for soil and yield analysis, as well as modern water conservation methods. The role of legal and economic support in stimulating the transition to more rational land management methods, including mechanisms of government support and international cooperation in the field of agricultural technology, is considered. Conclusions: The conclusions and recommendations for improving land resource management policy aimed at achieving a high level of food security are presented in the conclusion. The article is intended for specialists in agricultural economics, land management, as well as for a wide range of readers interested in agricultural development and land resource management
