Abstract
The main product of sheep farming is wool, which, due to its special technical properties, is an indispensable raw material for the manufacture of various products. Exploratory work to study the possibility of using laser radiation for shearing sheep is described. The results of a study of cutting pairs processed in different ways (nitrided, damasked, treated with a laser beam and conventional factory ones) are presented
