ECOLOGICAL CROPPING

One of the elements of a highly productive economy is to increase the depth of processing of raw materials, through the involvement of waste and secondary resources in economic circulation, which makes it possible to increase the yield of finished products per unit of processed raw materials. In addition to significant economic benefits, this provides a solution to environmental problems. The properties of the main crop waste - straw - provide dryness and warmth. Typically in livestock operations, straw is a by-product of growing crops for feed, and there is a large amount of it. Consequently, with proper processing, its use as a bedding material is effective, which is confirmed by data from a comparative analysis of it with other types of bedding. There is evidence that when straw is added to the bedding of pigs, the average daily weight gain increases by 8.1 g for every 100 g of straw added per day, and feed consumption increases. In addition, after being used as bedding, the resulting straw with manure is a sought-after high-quality organic fertilizer. Based on the analysis of processed information sources, it was established that the presented direction of using plant waste has been tested in practice and is quite simple to implement, therefore, it is promising for recycling and efficient animal husbandry
