Abstract
This article describes new areas of application of modern information technologies in geodesy, as well as some of the pros and cons of the AutoCAD Civil 3D environment, due to which the program will be analyzed. Also, it will describe many of the most common methods and methods for processing data from engineering and geodetic surveys. The article describes a key feature of the program that uses intelligent links between objects, allowing you to dynamically update all related objects when changes are made to the survey results or design decisions. Also considered are the geodetic data processing capabilities that are built into AutoCAD Civil 3D, which support a wide range of tasks - this is the import of field logs, setting and transforming the coordinate system, editing survey results, automatic creation of survey figures and surfaces. The following describes how end-to-end design is provided: points, survey figures, and surfaces, and their use throughout the design process. This proves that there is no need to manually transform the coordinate system and transfer data from survey applications to the design application. Introducing survey data into a project will automatically update project items. The interactive methods performed in the work allow solving many tasks of geodetic practice in a new and efficient way using the AutoCAD Civil 3D environment. At the same time, the visibility of the interactive method allows the user to focus on the geometric essence of the tasks being solved
