Abstract
GIS technologies contribute to the implementation of an effective land management mechanism, improve the quality of land use, and reduce the negative impact on the environment. Like many other developing countries, Kyrgyzstan faces a number of problems related to land management. The application of innovative methods of modern GIS technology can help in solving these important problems. In this article, work was done using QGIS, Saga Gis, which was associated with the assessment of land resources in one of the districts of the Chui region. For this, various geodata were used, such as digital maps, soil data, climate data, and others. With the help of Saga Gis, complex data processing and analysis operations were performed, such as cluster analysis, data classification, calculations of statistical indicators, etc. As a result of the research, digital maps were created that were used to make decisions in research projects
