Abstract
The main problems of land, water resources and modern agriculture and the introduction of the principles of resource conservation, efficiency and environmental friendliness of farming into the agro-ecosystems of agricultural production to ensure the country's food security are considered. Today, under the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors, the scale of loss of fertile soils is increasing, which requires the need to change the worldview to traditional methods of exploitation of soil and water resources. For the sustainable and green development of the country's economy, we must treat the natural resources used in agriculture as vital resources, and not as GDP production capacities. Adaptation of agriculture to climate change is a categorical imperative of the time
