THE FORMATION OF PROTOZOOLOGY IN KYRGYZSTAN

Abstract

This article highlights the main stages of development and formation of protozoology – the science of blood parasitic diseases of animals. The names of domestic scientists - protozoologists and their contribution to the study and epizootology of pathogens of pyroplasmidosis and measures to combat them are named. Scientists of the Kyrgyz Research Institute named after A.Duisheev have made great contributions to the study of the epizootology of protozoal diseases registered in the republic and the development of means to combat them. Many recommendations and instructions have been developed for veterinary practice on measures to control and prevent blood parasitic animals. Many works of scientists are devoted to the study of the epizootology of ixodic ticks - carriers of pathogens of blood-parasitic diseases of animals
