Abstract
The study presents a model of the adaptive response pattern in the body of laying hens with dermanyssosis. The following criteria were chosen as adaptive response indicators: leukocyte and erythrocyte count, cortisol blood levels, synthetic thyroid activity (free triiodothyronine concentration), antioxidant activity of blood serum, lactate dehydrogenase activity, lipid peroxidation intensity, and cholesterol, total protein and glucose levels. At the same time, pronounced physiological and biochemical changes were demonstrated in the chickens of egg breeds, which evidences declining mechanisms of adaptation that is responding to the tendency for the depletion of the key homeostasis parameters
