Abstract
Given that the republic is an import-dependent country, the issue of ensuring the country's food independence is the main component of national security. The article considers the indicators of the production of vital food products per capita in 2018 and 2021 relative to the average physiological norm of consumption in Kyrgyzstan. The volume of imports of agricultural products, the ratio of the volume of exports and imports of agricultural goods, forestry and fish farming in dynamics are analyzed
